MAKATI CITY, 28 July 2026 – The state-owned Credit Information Corporation (CIC) will hold Episode 9 of its CIC Academy Webinar entitled “Credit Card Approved: Tips to Boost Your Chances with Banks” on 14 August 2026.
In partnership with the Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP), the webinar will provide practical guidance on responsible credit management, common factors considered by banks during credit card applications, and simple financial habits that can help individuals build a stronger credit profile.
“As more Filipinos explore financial opportunities, understanding how credit works is just as important as accessing it. Through our webinar, we aim to help individuals build responsible credit habits that can improve their financial future,” said CIC President and CEO Ben Baltazar.
CCAP will serve as resource speaker and will discuss best practices in managing credit cards, tips on how credit card applications appproval, and ways on how to strengthen one’s creditworthiness.
The CIC encourages the public, especially aspiring credit cardholders, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals looking to establish or improve their credit standing, to participate in this informative session.
